MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT

MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT for a major Houston area Chemical firm.  They require a BS Engineering degree and proven supervisory /administrative skills, 5+ years supervisory experience in a Chemical/Petrochemical plant. Position requires maintenance experiene and general knowledge of basic accountng, production capabilities and mechanial skills.  You will direct and mange the site mainenance staff to implement best maintenance practices and provide technical expertise to reduce cost and improve process uptime and mechanical reliability.  You will assist Operations to troubleshoot and problem solve to eliminate problems or repetitive failures  You will coordinate all mechanical (includes electrical and instrumentation) actitivies for proper, safe execution of plant turnarounds, coordinate with engineering groups for capital project exectutions to ensure effective use of capital funds and maintain a competent maintenance staff through selection development and  motivation of subordinates.  To be considred: contact Channel Pesonnel Services, Inc, Houston, TX (cpsvera@aol.com)
