Lead Mechanical Engineer Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for independently applying advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline, and apply managerial skills. Strong leadership and organizational skills are required. Responsibilities include providing technical and supervisory direction to other mechanical engineers, designers, and modelers on a project task force. Also required to review/approve client specifications, technical bid evaluations, coordinate review of vendor drawings/data. Must be able to manage quality of deliverables, schedules, manhour budgets, weekly/monthly status reporting, and effectively lead the mechanical project team. Training and Experience: Strong leadership and organizational skills are required. Must have a minimum of 10+ years experience specifically related to different types of mechanical equipment, and administrative skills. Extensive knowledge of ASME Code, API standards, ANSI and other industry codes and standards is necessary. Will have extensive client and vendor interface, so communication skills must be excellent.
