Position Description:



The Knowledge Consultant will drive strategy, map competitive landscapes, and identify candidates to fill retained middle-market opportunities for a large RPO project.  This individual will be responsible for contributing to a world class research function, supporting the Oil & Gas recruiting team, primarily through providing top-quality research of Oilfield Services and the upstream end of the O&G industry.



Responsibilities:



Create and utilize live networks to identify referrals, candidates and targeted research:

Utilize all appropriate contacts to include personal networks, professional networks, associations, events and universities



Directly call into targeted companies / organizations



Collaborate with O&G knowledge leader to develop best-in-class target lists of companies by industry segment, geography and / or customer



Write compelling advertisements for job boards and manage the inflow of candidates attracted by the advertisements, evaluating resumes and pre-qualifying candidates



Mine the Internet and job boards for passive candidates



Enter research into the proprietary database on an as-needed basis





 

Qualifications:



Well-developed networking skills and the ability to identify potential sources and create a live networking pool on all projects – "fearless on the phone".

Must have meaningful exposure to the fundamentals of business structures, functions and organizations within O&G



Ability to think creatively with a problem-solving orientation and a drive for results



Experience with advanced Internet mining techniques, AIRS certification strongly preferred



Strong knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel with Database experience required



2 to 4 years professional experience with preference given to someone who has worked within a recruitment, research or executive search setting



Education:  A Bachelor’s degree is required
