World headquarters is located in Irving, Texas. NCH manufactures and markets an extensive line of maintenance, repair and supply products to customers in over 55 countries worldwide.  NCH products include chemical specialties, fasteners, welding alloys and plumbing parts as well as maintenance and supply products.  These products are sold and serviced primarily through the Corporation’s own sales force. Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced international corporate generalist to join our staff of five lawyers.  This position reports to the General Counsel but has direct contact with and responsibility to the company’s top management.   Responsibilities for this position include:· Write, review, and negotiate an extremely broad variety of contracts· Interpret and advise on laws of many foreign jurisdictions· Organize and maintain corporate formalities of over 100 non-U.S. corporations· Manage compliance and litigation issues outside the United States. · Assist and supervise outside counsel in Asia and Latin America (25 countries)· Work with our European Regional General Counsel Requirements for this position include:· Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice law in Texas or another state· Eight or more years related experience as an attorney, preferably with some experience as in-house counsel· Excellent writing skills (writing samples will be required)· A business-oriented approach to problem solving, while knowing and being able to explain legal complexities and risks· Cultural awareness and acceptance of diverse environments· Abilities in languages other than English.  Chinese and Spanish are of special interest· Willingness and ability to travel· Intellectual property knowledge and experience, preferred  · Transfer pricing knowledge and experience, preferred· Immigration law knowledge and experience, preferred· Previous experience living or working outside the United States, preferred In return for your talent, we offer: Outstanding benefits including 401(K) with matching funds, major medical, dental, vision, life, long and short term disability.
