Instrument Tech
Tronox LLC (formerly called Kerr-McGee) is seeking applicants for Maintenance Technician - Instrumentation at its Henderson Facility. This position requires reading, writing, and math skills comparable to a high school education, plus 1-3 years experience as a journeyman or completion of an approved apprenticeship program relative to skill. Responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical and instrument process measurement and control systems throughout the facility to meet safety, production, quality, and environmental standards. Ability and knowledge to troubleshoot and repair control circuits, low voltage electrial circuits, and control loops including level, pressure, temperature, flow, pH, and conductivity is required. Experience with programmable logic controllers and distributed controls is desirable. Salary is $27.15/hour plus excellent benefits, including 401k and company-paid pension. Benefits begin on date of hire.
