Infrastructure Technologist/Sr. Technologist (middleware)

**This is a one-year Employment Contract position that includes a very comprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision, and bonus program eligibility)  The Employment Contract could extend beyond one year or be converted to regular status**  Great opportunity for experienced middleware engineer who will have responsibility for enterprise software such as Control M, MKS, SFTP, BMC Patrol/PEM/Alarmpoint that will be installed on UNIX/AIX servers. The select candidate will have responsibilities for configuring and supporting similar software. In addition to the general duties described below some project management experience is desired. Performs R&D activities Performs consulting services Performs capacity planning Performs 3rd level problem resolution Designs and plans for implementation Performs systems integration and interoperability, both internally and externally Supports the Application Development Lifecycle Performs system software maintenance, including version/release lifecycle management Supports Strategy and Planning projects Participate in Disaster Recovery support activities including technical design, planning, consultation and testing Provides consultation and support towards the development of Service Level Agreements- Contributes to the development and recommendation of standards and guidelines in conjunction with Strategy and PlanningQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent experience.  At least three to five years of senior level experience in computer and communications technology. Specific technical experience should include experience with computing hardware, system software system, middleware, and enterprise server technology Strong technical abilities and/or client focus Proven problem solving and decision making skills Ability to effectively communicate technical information Strong analytical, conceptual and coordination skills
