65,000.00 - 70,000.00 USD /year Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Biotech/R&D/Science Relevant Work Experience: 7+ to 10 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Associate Degree Company: Synerfac Technical Staffing Email: Apply by Email Website: www.synerfac.com Industrial Films Specialist Purpose: To provide technical support and leadership for the Autotype IMD and Industrial Films businesses in the Americas including customer support and complaint investigation, resolution and implementation. In addition, this role is specifically responsible for supporting the production scale-up, commercialization and quality improvement program of Xtraform at the Middletown facility. Qualifications:· Drive program to improve XF yields in Middletown through root cause analysis of product defects leading to the development of more robust processes & procedures (including project leadership, implementation and training and development of manufacturing and QC personnel)· Investigate customer complaints for Autotype IMD and Industrial Films business in the Americas including full product testing, problem analysis, root cause identification and follow-up of corrective actions.· Develop and implement program for data logging and analysis of XF coating to define process operating window. · Lead implementation of XF product and process improvement projects in support of Middletown XF PIT team ensuring that all required QC, TS and customer testing protocols are observed and documented.· Provide technical support/leadership to Autotype personnel and customers via phone and internet. Education/Experience: 8 to 10 years experience in Technical Service or Applications Laboratory dealing with performance film products. Skilled in the evaluation and testing of coated film products for both cosmetic and performance properties, including the operation of specialized QC equipment. Ability to identify and troubleshoot root causes of problems through detailed work and logical thought processes. Ability to analyze data using basic spreadsheet functions and clearly communicate experimental results and conclusions and to make recommendations for implementation including action plans and project leadership. Familiarity with the MOVEX business system and knowledge of manufacturing processes for coated film would be an asset to this role.
