Industrial Electrical Estimator

Industrial Electrical Estimator
The successful candidate must have thorough estimating knowledge and exceptional organizational skills.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Must be experienced with take offs and conceptual estimating
• Estimating, bidding and interpreting the written scope of work and specifications
• Participating in site visits
• Interacting with customers
• Working with subcontractors and vendors
• Working with the project managers to acquire materials and estimates for projects
• Training and reviewing estimates with trainees
• Working closely with other departments to ensure that all electrical project requirements fully mesh with overall project planning
• Travel to local job sites and some out of state travel. 
Please state salary preference.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and documented estimator/engineering skills.  Out of state candidates are welcome to apply - must meet criteria and explain why you should be considered.  Interview travel expenses will be covered, relocation expenses would be negotiable.
Requirements
• At least 10 years experience, primarily in the industrial construction market
• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Engineering degree preferred, not required
• Must have a clear understanding of the NEC
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must pass background check and drug test
