Tracer’s specialty is in providing heat tracing solutions to our industrial client base. Tracer Industries was a privately held entrepreneurial company that was acquired by Tyco in 2001. The entrepreneurial spirit still thrives here and we have a small-company-feel where everyone helps each other, but we also have all the benefits of being part of a Fortune 50 company. This candidate shall have a 4 year degree, preferably a technical degree and at least 10 years of construction related experience, preferably in the electrical discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Excel are also prerequisite. Willingness to travel in the Midwest up to approximately 25% of the time is required.The following list of position skills and functions are included in this position but not all inclusive: Perform estimating and quantity take off functions for electrical work discipline Perform project management functions including scheduling and material requisition. Write proposals for Engineer and Procure (EP) as well as Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) turn-key projects. Recruit, interview and hire construction field labor and field labor supervisors. Coordinate through local business agents for direct hire of electrical and insulation field labor. Manage TTC Midwest proposals & estimating as well as project management employees.
