In-Store Paint Sales Associate / Asst Manager

PAINT STORE ASSOCIATE / ASST. MGR - SHELBYVILLE, IN

 

Colour Palette is an aggressive, independent paint and flooring retailer that is growing and expanding quickly.  Our Shelbyville, IN location has 9 employees and needs a skilled associate or asst. manager for the paint dept.

 

Responsibilities: Assist consumer, contractor and industrial customers with orders Recommend coatings and sundries as requested Tint paint and perform custom color matching Fill orders and occasionally make deliveries Deliver an exceptional level of service to all customers Assist warehouse employee w/ receiving & stocking inventory Develop good relationships with contractor and industrial accts Maintain a clean and organized paint dept

 

Requirements: Minimum 2 years retail paint experience, 3 or more preferred Knowledge of coatings and paint application Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (50+ lbs) Strong work ethic Valid drivers license Successfully pass drug screen and background check Required to work 1-2 Saturdays per month

 

Overqualified Candidates:

If you possess all the skills above, have 3 or more years of retail paint experience, retail management background and a desire advance your career, the opening can be changed to a manager or asst manager level.  Pay will be commensurate with experience.
