INSTRUMENTATION & ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE PLANNER

Our client is a leading producer of petrochemicals. 

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Planner to plan I&E maintenance requirements for capital projects.  The Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Planner is responsible for the overall planning of needed resources, materials, and personnel for the instrumentation maintenance and electrical maintenance aspects of plant capital projects. 

 

The primary function of the Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Planner is to plan.  The Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Planner will support managers of capital projects to assure I&E- related activities are executed and completed effectively.

 

This position is located in Southeast Texas .

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Develop effective plans for the completion of I&E-related capital projectsDevelop achievable capital project schedules for completionWork with Production Management, Maintenance Management and other critical departments to ensure the development of reasonable project benchmarks, goals, and deadlines.Identify and acquire appropriate resources needed to complete the project, including personnel, tools, materials and equipment.Monitor and control maintenance expenses during I&E-related projectsTrack project status and the progress toward project completionEnsure that all planned capital projects meet EH&S requirements

 

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:High School Degree3+ years experience in mechanical maintenance in chemical or petrochemical facilityExperience and knowledge of  instrumentation maintenance and electrical maintenance operationsExperience in planning and schedulingExperience with capital projects
