I & E Technician - Instrument Repair Specialist - Chicago, IL

Nalco has an opening for an I & E Technician - Instrument Repair Specialist in our Manufacturing Group located in Chicago, IL.  The I & E Technician - Instrument Repair Specialist will primarily be responsible for, and must be able to, perform maintenance, installation and calibration of all instrument control systems in a safe, timely and quality manner.    Other Responsibilities include:Maintaining records of equipment repair The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:Minimum three years prior experience as an instrument mechanic in a chemical industry or a job closely related to the position of I&E Mechanic, as well as experience in the installation of pneumatic and electronic industrial control instrumentationKnowledge and experience of maintaining and calibrating process instrumentation, and electrical infrastructureKnowledge of shop mathematics and ability to work from blueprints, machine drawings or sketchesGeneral knowledge of PLCComputer skills are requiredH.S.
