Principal Accountabilities: Assist the Human Resources Partner and Generalist, and other areas where administrator related services are needed including preparation of documentation, typing and correspondence, meeting and presentation materials, expense reports, preparation of spreadsheets, meeting and travel arrangements as requested, preparation of status change forms and telephone support and payment of invoices. Responsible for posting all level positions on digitalCAT (and HotJobs if requested), coding resumes, maintaining Applicant Tracking Log, preparing offer letter packets Responsible for retrieving resumes from Intranet/Internet and forwarding to Generalist for review Prepare New Hire Announcements and post onto the Intranet through Corporate Communications. Responsible for Initiating Status Change forms for new hires, promotions, terminations and all other employee changes Administer the Educational Assistance Program such as approvals, processing of requests, grade follow up, and payment Responsible for entering all required data in to the HRIS system, i.e., New Hires, terminations, benefit changes and enrollments, employee changes, address changes Coordinate Service Awards and Retirement Awards ? work with outside vendor and supply them with reports. Receive and coordinate orders, then process them to vendor making sure all awards have been presented on time by Supervisors/ Managers/Department Heads. Coordinate the 25 year awards. Assist with domestic relocation process in coordination with HR Generalist and Relocation Management Company. Coordinate with Generalist the Results Sharing Plan process, team coordination, and bonus payouts Initiate New Hire and Termination Reporting to include, HRIS reports, email notification to internal customers and external customers as designated. Initiate reports in HRIS to include, monthly/quarterly headcount, ad hoc reporting etc Initiate Verification of employment letters and Vendor Certification letters upon request. Benefits ? Assist in answering benefit questions, resolve benefit claims, manage STD/LTD/FMLA logs and letter generation in coordination with generalist, assist in open enrollment process, enter benefit information into HRIS, initiate Benefit Termination and Retiree Letters. Maintain supplies/forms such as employment applications, benefit forms and brochures. Responsible for posting and updating information on the Human Resources section of the Intranet Back up HR Assistant and Maintenance of employee personnel and Benefit files to include filing AAP, updating and reporting along with HR Manager/Generalist. Point person for Peopleclick (AAP Database) Liaison and point person for Employers Unity, Inc. for the processing of unemployment claims, and hearings. Other administrative assistant duties as assigned Conduct new hire/transfer orientations, including completion of necessary forms, overview of benefits, payroll, company information, etc Process AT&T Calling Cards for all eligible Degussa employees RC14001 Document Control Coordinator for HR ? control all documents for RC14001 within HR Service Platform NAFTA, go to person for documents and non-conformance issues Plateau administrator for reporting of training needsCandidate Qualifications and Experience: Education & Experience: Bachelor Degree and minimum 3 years experience in Human Resources or equivalent Human Resources experience. Must have good interpersonal skills, sound employee relations judgment and strong self-initiation skills. Must be detailed oriented and have a high customer service orientation. Must have excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple assignments with the ability to meet deadlines. Must have the capability to produce high levels of top quality secretarial/clerical/admin work, and have the ability to work cooperatively with others from within and outside Human Resources.
