In this role you will be responsible for globally managing technology decisions for JDI’s Servers, Storage Systems and personal computer etc under the direction of the IT Infrastructure Atchitect. The individual advises and develops enterprise standards for related management these technologies, version management and appropriate decommissioning of the non strategic technologies. He/she will provide input for defining I.T. Infrastructure policies including security, long term capacity planning, and disaster recovery and business continuity planning and will constantly align the I.T. architecture vision and strategy with the strategic direction of our business. He/she will evaluate the scalability of an application based on the requirements from the regions/functions into the beginnings of business solutions, and, in so doing, will be responsible for infrastructure design and evaluation, and provide strategic input into selection of vendors and products to meet business requirements worldwide. This role will also be responsbile for the oversight and strategic growth of IDM, Directory Technologies (AD and e-Directory), Windows, Unix/Linux OS, SAN etc. Addtional responsibilities include: Review project ideas and provide technology input, prescribing appropriate server and storage configurations that will balance business requirements with JohnsonDiversey technology standards to arrive at the optimal solution. Monitor and provide input at key checkpoints throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and continuously refine overall technology architecture in support of our business. This includes critical areas such as security and audit related matters in addition to setting the strategic technology landscape. Define, document and communicate infrastructure technology standards. Provide Upgrade strategies, Capacity planning and Disaster Recovery planning for the servers, storage and personal computing devices. Provide guidance to “Run” organization for solving complex technology operational issues.  Participate in strategic sourcing process for acquiring Infrastructure technology assets and infrastructure services, including selection, negotiations and contract finalization. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related 5+ years Information Technology management Experience of participating in  major infrastructure project as analyst, architect or technical lead. Experience inData Center Management or Operations Understanding of Directory Services, Windows, Unix/Linux and SAN Understanding and knowledge of Virtulizations Concepts Experience working with cross functional and global team.  Additionally: Knowledge of internal and external technology landscape,   Analytical and problem solving skills   Vendor / third party management and negotiation   Technology certifications a plus   JohnsonDiversey provides a competitive compensation and benefits program to include medical, dental, 401k, life insurance, paid vacations and holidays.
