Job Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Other Contact Information Company: CORESTAFF Services Email: Apply by Email Job Description Gas Scheduler North Houston Energy Company is looking for an experienced Gas Scheduler for a full time/direct hire position. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESThe Gas Scheduler will be accountable for the following functions: • Establish and document procedures relating to interstate pipeline companies. • Account for gas volumes transported by the interstate pipelines. • Track nominations, confirmations, and balance natural gas flow volumes with producers, shippers, and pipelines from multiple producing regions. • Resolve issues while effectively working with the measurement, marketing, revenue accounting, land and operations departments. • Work closely with mid office personnel to provide accurate reporting and utilization of the transactional system. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS  Self motivated and results oriented. • Ability to multi-task, while staying focused and aligned with team and corporate goals. • Analytical ability and creativity in problem solving. • Versatility in building relationships and communication with other departments. • Flexibility to adapt to short fuse opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent. • Good presentation, communication and technical writing skills. • Working knowledge of gas contracts and transportation. • Ability to work well with others.
