Job Description:
The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for the month end close process, production of the monthly financial package, preparation of mid-year and annual financial statements, maintain various corporate insurance and benefits accounts, and will be a subject matter expert on latest reporting pronouncements applicable to TIMEC.
Day to day responsibilities includes the following:
Organize and manage the monthly management reporting close process.Propose and recommend improvements to the monthly closing process.Monitor, review and report on the effectiveness of financial reporting controlsMaintain current and approved set of Financial reporting Policies and Procedures.Manage the consolidation and internal allocation processMaintain a current knowledge of external reporting requirements and communicate any potential impact and disclosure requirements.Maintain insurance, benefits and other accounts that are allocated to various units within TIMEC.Maintain tax template and coordinate FAS 109 recording.
Skills and Experience
Candidate must have a CPA certificationPreferably, candidate has worked for one of the Big FOUR for a few yearsIn the early stage of his/her career, 5 years experience or so, preferably with a Public Accounting firmCandidate must really understand the Compliance, Elements to Public Company AccountingAdvanced skills in ExcelGood writing and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of taxation mattersDetailed and current knowledge of GAAP and understanding and application of technical accounting issues and policies
