GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Leadership Program places Financial Analysts - generally new college graduates - into key areas of finance, audit, accounting, and international finance on a two-year rotational program. The Financial Analyst is to gain exposure and experience in corporate accounting and finance activities in order to develop key competencies to fill key management roles in the future. Types of activities may include internal audit, tax, treasury, mergers & acquisitions, financial analysis, cost accounting, and period ending closing on a monthly, quarter, and annual basis. During each phase of their assignment they will establish relationships with peers and leaders, learn fundamentals and be provided feedback from the program manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as a partner with business/department analysts or directors to resolve financial related issues.
- Work with the business/department to become a contributing member of the finance team.
- Gain exposure to financial analysis, general accounting, and cost accounting by practical application.
- Participate in various projects from concept to completion.
- Gain exposure to domestic and international operations and knowledge of PolyOne customers and go-to-market strategies.
- Participates in monthly, quarterly, annual financial closings, projections, and annual budget process.
- Participates in the planning, execution and reporting of financial and operational internal audits.

Required Education, Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field. -Computer Skills:Proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheet applications required (MS Word and Excel preferred).
- Team player with strong project management and organization skills required. - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, as well as take initiative required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Required Length & Type of Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of Relevant work (internship experience applicable).
