Reports To: Manager, Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis Date: August 11
Required Skills/Experience:
BS in Accounting/Finance with minimum 6-10 years experience in financial reporting & analysis. Preferably in an international business environment. CPA/CFA or advanced degree or plus.
Experience in developing & maintaining business management reporting structure & process.
Strong ability to report & interpret accurate financial results.
Must be a very proficient user of Excel and other MS Office applications. Experience with Hyperion software (Enterprise and/or HFM) preferred. Experience with one of the following Business Intelligence (SAP/Hyperion/COGNOS) software package required.
Ability to interact with all levels of management as well as effective written & oral communication skillsExperience in financial and strategic analysis, including the development of business cases (NPV, IRR, pay-back, ROI etc) and extensive experience creating these analyses in Excel or other modeling software. Simulation application experience a plus, but not required
Ability to work overtime during peak demands and monthly and year end close required
Job Summary:
Responsible for working with business management to develop and maintain reporting and analysis of business results and evaluate potential business transactions. Scope of role includes leading or participating in these initiatives to improve accounting reporting processes for both internal & external reporting, budgeting & forecasting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide analytical support to the financial planning and analysis functional responsibilities by planning, preparing and delivering the annual profit and cash flow budget, long-range strategic plan, monthly forecasts and decision support; review and analyze SG&A costs with Functional owners; develop tools to support internal management needs and reporting.Assist in the implementation of management reporting systems and related on-going improvement and maintenance Increase revenue and profitability by partnering with key business partners to manage their business and provide sound financial analysisProvide decision support through the development of financial models for business transactions and proposed projectsImprove business performance by evaluating current processes and tools to drive efficiencies and improve forecast accuracy
Identify and recommend changes for improvement in management reporting
Perform additional duties as requested by Finance leadership
