Energy conservation and demand response is a strategic growth market for our Utility Solutions (HUS) Division. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to lead a growing and dynamic team of installers. The program’s main objective is delivering a load control conservation program to residential, multifamily and commercial customers within a large utility company’s territory. You will work with top-notch clients in a fun, creative, fast paced, and friendly work environment that is both challenging and team oriented. The Field Supervisor’s primary objective is to manage the operation to safely and effectively complete the project on time, ahead of schedule, within budget, and with a satisfied client. This will include accountability for the install teams production and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Position Summary:
Perform field supervisory functions in support of program management; including coordination of field crews, on-site training and troubleshooting, driving productivity to meet required financial goals, quality control sampling and handling field related customer service. Coordinate with program management to ensure field operations are directed appropriately toward meeting all program goals. Coordinate with office administration and Call Center to ensure smooth integration of scheduling and field implementation logistics. Supervise field inventory tracking and monthly field reporting, including communication of inventory problems/needs as necessary. Perform quality control inspections of field technician installation and service to ensure contract compliance and that all performance and customer satisfaction standards are met. Perform monthly safety training and inspections to ensure compliance with Honeywell standards. Perform field resolutions of customer complaints as necessary. Tasks and Responsibilities: Manage and drive productivity results among the field crew. QC subordinates' time and mileage claims. Investigate and assist with processing customer damage claims. Maintain after hours on-call schedule for field team.
Supervise and back-up after-hours technicians. Perform product testing and RMA process, as needed. Perform inventory control duties (ensures adequate tools and field supplies are on hand or on order). Train and, screen new hire candidates for HVAC technical aptitude. Perform pertinent training classes for installation and service as necessary. Ensure safety and quality compliance training for field staff is completed as required. Perform daytime service calls and installations as necessary, especially as fill-in for absentees. Assist with other HW Utility Solutions Programs if needed.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma Technical training completed or 2 year college degree. 1 -3 years supervisory experience 8 - 10 years HVAC experience.
Computer literacy; Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn program specific software.
Valid driver license
