Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Biotech/R&D/Science Environmental Lab Tech - Fuel  Job Description: An Environmental Laboratory is looking to hire a Volatile Fuel Lab Tech in their Bothell facility. This position is perfect for someone with about 6 months+ environmental lab experience that is looking to gain exposure to volatile fuels. The work schedule for this position will be Tuesday – Saturday, Wednesday – Sunday, or Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Responsibilities:* Weigh and prepare samples for analyses by EPA Method 8015 Mod. and 8021 to determine and evaluate chemical and physical properties of laboratory samples * Carry out detailed preparation according to SOPs * Maintain laboratory documentation * Interpret chromatograms to determine sample reanalysis * Communicate bench level needs and observations with various areas of the laboratory, including Project Managers, QA/QC, and Sample Control * Calibrate GC instruments * Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting Requirements: * BS in a Life Science and at least 6 months environmental industry laboratory experience * Possess strong organizational and documentation skills, including attention to detail * Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekendsFor immediate consideration, please contact Erika Herbst at [email address removed] or at 425-893-6056.
