Environmental Engineer - Air
Requirements:
* B.S. Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemistry
* This person must have experience with Title V regulations with both federal and (ideally) Texas state air regulations. * Personality-wise, this person will have to be the high-motivation, high-drive personality type.
* 5-15 years of plant operation/environmental work experience.
Job Description:
This engineer will be based at a 320-person petrochemical facility using reactors and distillation columns. This person will be one of 3 air specialists on site, along with a wastewater engineer and a solid waste engineer. The main objective of this position will be to ensure that this facility maintains compliance, at all times, with applicable federal, state and local Air environmental regulations. This will include planning, coordination, execution, and formulating of improvement plans within the Plant to address the procurement of air permits, records retention, and monitoring of data. The candidate can stay at this site for many years but the company would like someone who could move to one of 8 sites within 5 years (NC, SC, VA, TX, OH, etc). This company is a large petrochemicals company with facilities all over the U.S. They offer one of the most competitive relocation packages within the chemical industry which includes third-party purchase of homes.
