Jobing Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Co-coach, manage and lead Academy Bay trainees and the New Business Development Sales Team along with the daily workflow within the group area to achieve monthly corporate statistical objectives. Two coaches and the Head Trainer are to accomplish objectives as outlined.

In the training environment will provide training solutions to include teaching basic sales and product training programs, assist Unit Managers with on-going coaching, train administrative staff as needed and the training of general computer applications. Will assess needs, maintain and ensure accuracy of relevant training materials, and provide regular follow up support.

In the New Business Development Team environment, Coaches will provide leadership, training and guidance to meet target new customer counts and acceptable AOV values.

PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide basic sales training to include one on one coaching, monitoring, systems and products for Academy Bay trainees.
- Provide on-going sales training, coaching and leadership to members of the New Business Development Team.
- Training of general computer applications.
- Participate in evaluation of training programs and effectiveness.
- Mentor and motivate all new Business Development Team members through call coaching and reinforcing product knowledge and selling skills
- Assess and report Personnel successes and failures on a timely basis
- Provide on going support and instruction to daily operations

Secondary Position responsibilities

• Assist in special projects development and training
• Assist in developing courses and delivering of training programs

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

• Training needs are dealt with proactively working within the team
• New Business Development Coaches will, as a team, complete a minimum of 2 Call Coaching forms per associate per month after they have been advanced from Academy Bay.
• See that each trainee has no less than 5 sales before moving from the Academy Bay to the New Business Development Team.
• Insure that each trainee has successfully passed all Academy Bay exercises and tests successfully.
• Lead, coach and manage sales associates on the New Business Development Team to insure all targets and metrics are successfully met monthly on an individual sales associate basis and the number of new accounts are generated at an acceptable pace to meet current corporate objectives.
• Graduate Academy Bay trainees at acceptable levels to maintain an 85% desk capacity fulfillment on the New Business Development Team.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Microsoft Windows, Office, Outlook.
• Strong oral/written communication skills
• Needs assessment and evaluation skills
• Ability and patience to work with associates of varying degrees of overall skill sets and attributes
• Capacity to integrate training and application benefits with understanding of end user processes
• Selling Skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Prior sales experience
• Computer proficiency on systems utilized
• Demonstrated training / teaching / coaching and leadership experience
