Enterprise Systems Americas PMO Lead

Description:Enterprise Systems (ES) is vested with the authority and accountability for:
- the development of Strategic Direction and Roadmaps for all Enterprise Systems
- the definition of Architecture, Strategy and Standards within the Enterprise Systems Domain.
- an Enterprise Systems Project Execution Engine resourced by a talent pool deploying applications standards, tools and methods
- the development and maintenance of Enterprise-wide shared components and associated services
- the "silent running" of applications in accordance with established service levels with the business. Support components to include application service desk, base applications support, service delivery and business process analysis with key interfaces to the business, GOI and suppliers.
The ES PMO team is accountable for:
- creating and maintaining common PMO methodology- deploying PMOs to projects ensuring delivery to standard methodology, processes and tools- provisioning a Single Source of Truth for detail on projects- developing and maintaining a common integrated plan and data- developing and executing a governance process- executing Portfolio Management and facilitating decision making- ensuring PMO supply capability is matched to portfolio-wide demand- monitoring adherence to standards and quality delivery
This role reports to ES PMO Talent and Delivery ManagerQualifications:Masterful Knowledge of Project Management. Methodologies and Tools and Product Development LifeCycle(s).Excellent knowledge and experience of planning and scheduling, gained in a project environment, with at least one project involving SAP R/3.Excellent first hand experience of Microsoft Project, with demonstrated expert use gained through intensive usage.Experience of management reporting, ideally on project delivery status.The resilience and flexibility needed to succeed in a demanding and challenging project environment, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities.Influencing skills needed to challenge unrealistic planning and resource projections.Influencing skills needed to ensure standards are adhered to, despite competing needs from projects/business, with flexibility to adjust as appropriate.Knowledge of Earned Value Analysis concepts.Masterful Application of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Houston, TXJob Number: RUSABP4219-610491Company Profile:Our business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy.
