Engineering Technology/Fixed Equipment Inspection Specialist

 

The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. (E2G) is a Northeast Ohio Engineering Consulting Company, internationally recognized in the refining and petrochemical industries as a leader on aging infrastructure (fixed equipment) service and support.  Our company has pioneered the development of advanced Fitness-for-Service (FFS) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) technologies. 

E2G has an immediate need for an Engineering Technology/Fixed Equipment Inspection Specialist working at its Corporate Headquarters in Shaker Heights, Ohio.  As a member of E2G, this position is responsible for:

· Reviewing fixed equipment inspection history for use in risk based inspection analysisReviewing equipment/piping design and operating dataManaging data related to RBI analyses of fixed equipment, pressure relief devices and heat exchanger bundles Interacting with onsite clientsAssisting in technology and software development Promoting E2G by participating and making presentations at industry forums

 

Qualified applicants must:

· Have an Associate Degree in a Mechanical Engineering Technology or a minimum of 5 years of work experience in fixed equipment inspection in the refining or chemical industry, preferably with an operating company. 

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Possess strong work ethic and the desire for a challenging, rewarding and progressive work environment.

· Strong computer skills.

· Be familiar with process equipment and design, plant operations, NDE inspection methods, and data management.  API 510, 570 and/or 653 certification welcome.

·  Be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to travel to client’s sites.
