Engineering Manager
QED Environmental Solutions is a world leader in Membrane Separation Technologies and is currently using this expertise in the development of environmental solutions in waste water discharge. With offices in Australia and Florida this is a fast growing company operating at the cutting edge of the molecular separation industry.
We are currently constructing a State of the Art processing plant in Tampa, Florida and are seeking a highly motivated professional to lead future engineering activities and develop the Company engineering capability.Â
The key outcomes for the position include to develop a high performance team to deliver outstanding results, ensure all engineering work is performed in a structured and formal manner with due engineering rigor, coordinate with Company other offices to deliver complete design deliverables, work with Company management to develop opportunities and secure contracts.  Â
This is a key high profile position reporting to the President of North American Operations. As a result you must be self motivated with highly developed leadership skills in order to create and develop an efficient team. The successful applicant will have; a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 10 yrs industry experience. Recent experience with a recognized design engineering company would be as distinct advantage, an ability to evaluate technical concepts and communicate technical concepts to staff and clients, demonstrated experience in working with formal design engineering systems together with process plant design, P & ID development, equipment specification and equipment selection, an ability to effectively manage and coordinate with site staff and head office personnel for the delivery of technical projects, experience in chemical and/or mineral processing industry, experience with membrane technology an advantage, and a high commitment to safety and environment.
