ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
JOB SUMMARY
Assists the plant’s Environmental Compliance group in all activities. Assists with the Environmental Compliance Department functions and plans and executes programs. Administers reporting and recordkeeping functions.
This position reports to the Environmental Compliance Superintendent.
Key Roles:
· Regulatory reporting and recordkeeping
· Plan and manage the air emissions testing program
· Manage regulatory training requirements (including leading training sessions)
· Maintain the solid / hazardous waste tracking system
· Cross train on leak detection system program
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelors degree required
· 3 years environmental compliance experience.
· Prefer degree in science field with experience in heavy industry.
· Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
