E&I Designer
DESIGNER – INSTRUMENT/ELECTRICAL:
We are seeking mid-to high level designer, (Senior Designer to Principal Designer level) for Instrument/Electrical design work for refinery and pipeline automation projects. Although both Electrical and Instrumentation experience is preferred, Instrumentation has the higher priority. We prefer someone local, or someone who has ties to the area. Must have initiative and is good at multi-tasking. Experience designing PLC panels and Safety Shutdown systems (such as Triconex) is preferred. CAD skills a plus.
Requirements include:
· Proficiency in AutoCAD 2000
· Refinery/Petrochem experience – will entertain other industries.
· A working knowledge of NEC codes and API recommended design practices.
· Experience in interfacing with 3D piping models a plus.
· Sizing and layout designs of electrical power and PLC control systems (MCC Installation, conduit sizing and routing, etc.) for the instrumentation of controls of plant equipment.
· Client is looking for a long term candidate (poss. temp to perm for right candidate)
