We have an immediate position open for a Director of Bioanalytical Services to work in Princeton, NJ.  Salary is commensurate with experience and there is an excellent benefits package.

Position Summary:

 

•Work with Business Development (BD) to develop business from new and existing clients. Keep BD apprised of opportunities as well as areas of concern.  Respond to BD requests. Continually educate and update BD on capabilities and advantages.  Communicate revenue objections, sales metrics, etc… to appropriate corporate and BD staff.

 

•Provide on-site client relation services and client advocacy, including new client inquiries and introductions, client visits, client satisfaction interviews, and client contact for problem resolution.  Provide support to principal investigators as needed in their client interactions.

 

•Oversight of quotations and contracts, including reviewing and signing quotes and contracts (GLP, non-GLP and Discovery), developing and maintaining standards for pricing and type of work to pursue, acting as an interface with the corporate legal department, and maintaining all critical client requirements and their distribution/access.

 

•Work with the corporate marketing department.  Collaborate to develop high quality marketing materials (presentations, brochures, advertisements, etc…) that equally represent and promote all the bioanalytical laboratories.  Develop and maintain specific materials to highlight company’s unique capabilities (small molecules, biomarkers, peptides, endogenous, GC/MS/MS).

 

•This position includes, but is not limited to the above responsibilities.  The incumbent may perform other duties as assigned.

 

The candidate will need to be interested in interacting with clients on a regular basis.  There will be some involvement with Operations, however, the bulk of the job will be working with the Directors of Business Development to develop business from existing and new clients. 

 

A PhD or Master’s degree is preferred.  However, candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree with extensive experience may be considered.

 

An understanding of the contract bioanalytical business and GLP regulations is essential.

 

Experience with contracts and interactions with clients is required.
