Director Product Development
Manufacturing Division of Fortune 500 client seeks Manager to focus on customer and market-driven technology needs executed here in North America. The Director will drive execution, collaboration and strategy in the transfer of platform technology developments into newly developed products and technical marketing, and will also play an integral role as part of the Division's Global Product Technology innovation team. The Director will provide leadership and mentoring to product development engineers, chemists and technicians for various product lines. Position will also manage Portfolio of new product developments, control budgets and technology costs and champion quality control of new products. Will support evolution of sales in Division and build relations with external customers/suppliers.
Will control personnel levels and training opportunities, achieving a healthy talent base in attaining short and long term technology goals.

Successful candidate will have 5 years leadership experience with a product development team/technology function in a progressive chemical, coatings, packaging or polymeric related materials company. Degree in Chemistry/Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering.Â
