Development Manager
An oil and gas industry leader is in need of a top-notch, well-organized, strong communicator to fill a key position of Development Manager.
Significant aspects and must have’s ------------
· REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports directly to the Senior Vice President.
· KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for supervising staff of reservoir engineers, development geologists and technicians and providing technical direction to subsurface teams in assessing reservoir performance and field development planning and exploitation.
· KNOWLEDGE: Requires solid understanding of reservoir engineering principles and geologic interpretation, reserves estimation and classification, fluid and rock characterization, reservoir simulation and economic analysis.
· EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Masters Degree in
Geology
· EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10+ years experience in the oil and gas industry.
