Vital to the success and growth of our company is a strong commitment to our customers and employees. RustOleum is currently seeking a Corporate Buyer to join our Purchasing team at our corporate Headquarters in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
The main function of this job will be to coordinate the purchase of finished goods from multiple vendors and maintain those relationships.
Position ResponsibilitiesParticipate on task forces for new product development or new processesCoordinate various packaging and component changes w/marketing, plants and suppliersNegotiate non-contract pricing for various raw materials, components and finished goods
Position RequirementsBS/BA degree required2 year purchasing/planning experience in a MRP environmentSAP experience desiredPurchasing skills-value analysis, negotiation, cost reduction supplier managementComputer spreadsheet and word processing skillsOutstanding communication skillsCPM or APICS certification desirable
