Under general supervision of higher-level quality personnel, performs various inspections, examinations and tests requiring advanced knowledge of procedures, codes or standards.*Perform required inspections, examinations, and tests accordance with documented procedures and/or industry practices.*Is familiar with the tools and equipment to be employed and has demonstrated proficiency in their use.*Is capable of determining that the calibration status of inspection and measuring equipment is current, and is in proper condition for use.*Is capable of determining that applicable inspection, examination, and test procedures are approved.*Maintains working relationships with construction crafts, construction engineering and other disciplines of the quality organization.*Identifies and controls nonconforming work activities, material or equipment through implementation of approved project procedures.*Ensures that required inspection, examination, and testing related documents are properly prepared, recorded, and maintained. *Other duties as assigned.Qualifications*Currently Certified in the Civil/Structural Discipline as Level II per ANSI N45.2.6.*Five years current related experience in commercial nuclear power projects.*Has demonstrated capabilities in the following:1.In planning inspections, examinations, and tests.2.In set-up of tests including preparation and set-up of related equipment, as appropriate.3.In supervising or maintaining surveillance over the inspections, examinations, and tests.4.In supervising and certifying lower level personnel.5.In reporting inspection, examination, and testing results.6.In evaluating the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination, and test results.*Remains knowledgeable of safety policies and procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner, and while supervising others, has responsibility for their safety and ensures that they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits.Fluor values the contributions of a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
