The responsibilities of a Construction Engineer V include, but are not limited to:- Support material and contract managements activities- Support construction activities- Assist project controls in assembly of work packages and provisions of engineering documents- Solve field piping construction problems- Act as focal point for special field requests for engineering and / or vendor documents from contractors- Provide input to as-built drawing efforts- Assist in turn-over as required- Support QA in technical assessment of quality issues and non-conformities of construction and equipment- Actively participate in the Project Safety Program and lead by example in safety awareness- Working knowledge of piping specifications, codes and standards- Previous experience in construction projects as field engineer or the equivalent design experience- Good communicator- Efficient user of POL and/or ProArc- Ability to work closely and successfully with Client and other project membersQualificationsThe preferred candidate should have:- Bachelor's Degree in Piping or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience- 7-12 years project experience- Read, write and understand English documents and drawings- Additional information defining roles and responsibilities is contained in PAR Construction Engineering ProcedureFluor values the contributions of a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
