 The Business Services division of ARAMARK provides a wide range of food, facility, and other support services to more than 500 clients in business and industry, at more than 1,200 locations in the U.S.  ARAMARK offers Fortune 500 companies and other large and small employers a single-source provider for employee cafés, executive dining rooms, catering, convenience stores, conference center management, and facility management. ARAMARK Business Services is looking for professional leaders committed to providing our customers with unique solutions, outstanding variety, and healthy menu choices to improve the overall well-being and productivity of client locations.   The Offshore Operations & Remote Sites division is a rapidly growing sector of the Business Services Division of ARAMARK that provides "hotel services" (food & beverage and facilities management) to our offshore client oil rig locations.  ARAMARK currently offers our services at 50 offshore locations as well as other land camps and boats that service the oil drilling industry.  The Offshore Operations & Remote Sites division of Business Services is looking for professional leaders committed to providing our customers with unique solutions, outstanding variety, and healthy menu choices to improve the overall well-being and productivity of client locations. As a CampBoss/Chef Manager you will manage, as a minimum, hotel services on an offshore installation as well as ensuring client satisfaction and a smooth running and profitable operation. The importance of the position lies in the fact that it is a key front line role for delivery of service to the client which encompasses delivery of ARAMARK standards, contract compliance and the extra attention to detail and service for which ARAMARK has become famous.  To be successful the incumbent’s key skills depend on the provision of exceptional food; management of staff, and excellent customer care skills. You will be responsible for: Managing all personnel under his/her control and ensuring they have attended onshore orientation, been trained, appraised and competent to perform any assigned task.  Maintain up to date records of orientation, training and progress. Organizing a duty rotation, menu planning and cleaning rotations within budgetary targets. Ensuring all equipment is operating satisfactory and when necessary, reports defect. Developing and maintaining regular and effective communication with the client through regular interaction with ARAMARK, OIM’s and customers to ensure he/she is fully aware of client/customer opinions in service. Controlling all stocks of food and non-food items within agreed quality standards, inventory levels and budgetary constraints. Operating all standard administrative procedures as laid down in the Unit Manager’s Handbook and the Standard Offshore Systems Manual, to provide accurate timely information, adequate control and concise records. Preparing and serving meals to client prescribed standards within the budgetary framework laid down by ARAMARK. Managing all aspects of the catering and housekeeping services on an offshore installation. In all of the above duties, to ensure their own health and safety and that of others is given priority! Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's or related culinary degree with 3-5 years of industry & management experience. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role. Previous experience with food production, purchasing processes and daily foodservice operations is required.  Other skills needed to be successful in this position are: Technical skills, HSE knowledge, Administrative skills, Training skills, and Assessment and Appraisal skills. CampBoss/Chef Managers will work for 14 days straight on the site, and then have 14 days off.A base salary of approximately $33K (for 26 weeks of work) is the starting salary (salary commiserates with relevant experience).Additional work weeks are offered to supplement this salary.  Transportation to the nearest docks is not provided; however transportation from the dock to the rig is provided, and upon reaching the rig, room and board are provided.
