Lead structural engineer for large refinery projects - man hour estimates, calculations, specifications, field inspections.  Located in Claremont, CA, 91771 (Northern California - East Bay of San Francisco) The Job: Lead engineer for large refinery projects. Prepare engineering man hour estimates, structural calculations, MTO, specifications, and sketches for structure Perform field investigation and coordinate work with other groups Direct engineers and designers to perform design, 3D modeling and produce construction drawingsQualifications: BS or MS degree with a minimum of 15 years of industrial experience in structural engineering, including lead engineering position for large projects Familiar with CBC and IBC Codes. Proficient with STAAD-PRO and other structural software Calif. PE and good communication skills are required. Calif. SE is a plus Candidate must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident - No H1B visas Position located in California.  No Relocation is being offered for this position.  Per diem available to those that qualify Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.  TN Visas are acceptable.
