Business Development Manager/Transmission EngineerDescription: Volt Technical Resources' client, a leading supplier and distributor of natural gas to residential and business customers, is looking for a Business Development Manager with a mixed background of Utilities and Sales experience. The ideal candidate is an aggressive hunter with experience negotiating and closing large deals. This person must be able to drive their own business and help with new acquisitions and mergers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -acquire lucrative gas distribution assets and/or companies. -effectively exploit existing assets through increased commercial utilization or expansion of such -negotiate third-party, off system transportation contracts. -lead and perform due diligence efforts for acquisition targets -act as a liaison between operations personnel and producer/shipper customers Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: -Knowledge of Gas Utility regulatory schemes-rate based, allowed rates-of-return, and components that comprise such. -Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline. -Excellent written and oral communication skills. -Minimum of 5-8 years direct work experience preferred, MBA is a plus.
