They seek a dynamic, persistent, self-motivated “Business Development Manager” to drive business growth. You must have a “Hunter”, not a “Farmer” mentality. If you deliver only results, not excuses, you should apply. This is a hand’s on role analyzing client needs and delivering service solutions to the Oil, Gas and Chemical market. You must have a track history of exceeding sales goals and driving profitable sales. This is a tremendous growth position if you’re one of the top Business Development Managers in the greater Houston area!  Your primary role and responsibilities is to generate, qualify and close new business for contract construction maintenance services.  Project size and scope may range significantly from small to very large capital projects in the tens of millions of dollars, so you must be comfortable to provide solutions at every level. You and your support team will build new clients and expand existing relationships with appropriate c-level executives, managers, owners, engineers and purchasing to understand needs and deliver appropriate solutions. You’ll be supported by service experts on your team to provide solutions. You’ll be responsible for sales of the company's services in the greater Houston area covering a diverse client base. You’ll negotiate construction service maintenance agreements; develop proposals, presentations and brochure materials. You’ll participate in setting sales and profit goals to meet corporate objectives. The qualifications, skills and experience applicants must have include a minimum of 3-7years preferred in business development / sales management directly or closely related to contract construction maintenance services in the Houston market. Background experience should include a four year engineering or construction degree with marketing emphasis. Seven years in contract construction, maintenance, sales management is highly desirable. You must be persistent, be customer service focused and know how to sell strategically with all levels of decision makers and influencers. Experience in business development with long term selling cycles would be very beneficial. If you have an established client base, owner and business relationships in Houston tell us about your network in confidence. You must have excellent negotiation ability, verbal and written communication skills. Compensation package is very competitive and open ended. Base compensation and incentives have realistic potential for mid to high six figure income.
