Assistant Operator - Chemical Manufacturing - Sugar Land, TX

Nalco has an opening for an Assistant Operator in our Manufacturing Group located in Sugar Land, TX.  The Assistant Operator will primarily be responsible for packaging out chemical product into various containers.  Operating related equipment, i.e., pumps, transfer systems, packaging lines, lift trucks & control systems.  Making proper line-ups to and from storage tanks, tank trucks and control systems.    Other Responsibilities include: Maintain clean, safe work area Communicate between shifts and prepare required documentation Committed to working safely and be willing to become involved in safety & continuous improvement activities Label packages in accordance with all company and government requirements Quality Assurance testing and reporting as well as product blending The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:   Previous chemical handling experience a plus Knowledge of pumps, transfer systems, packaging lines, lift trucks, and control systems Manufacturing experience a plus H.S.
