Analytical Chemist

Main job responsibility:  Work with the Analytical Manager to support overall laboratory technical capabilities.

Qualified candidate will perform the following duties:

* Maintain all laboratory instrumentation in working order through calibration, maintenance and professional service
* Develop methods of analysis as customer and laboratory needs dictate and train laboratory personnel in the use of these methods
* Perform analysis on samples requiring non-routine investigation and report findings to the appropriate people (customer, District Manager, supplier, etc).
* Must develop a unique ability/specialty that can be utilized/passed on
* Maintain security of all formulations and procedures unique to the Corporation
* Participate in academic and technical societies
* Conduct literature and library research as requested


Position Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field
* Knowledge of various instrumentation or techniques
* Prefer 3-5 years of experience but will consider applicants with less experience
