What you will be doing: * Manage / expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products & developing new applications * Identify and develop new market potential by qualifying accounts * Perform lead generation, qualification of accounts, and close sales * Initiate sales process by scheduling appts; making initial presentation; understanding account reqs * Close sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities * Overcoming objections; prepare contracts * Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products * Provides competent technical customer support in all aspects of the customer relationship * Extensive travel to and close interaction, communication and daily follow up with existing and potential customers throughout NAFTAWhat you will need: * Aggressive and proactive self-starter with a strong customer orientation * Minimum of 3 years experience in sales of masterbatch or compounds with a proven sales record * Prefer a BS degree in Chemical or Polymer Engineering or 10-15 years of equivalent business exp. * Work experience in masterbatch, compounding and/or plastics industry to provide technical support * Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as a good business sense * Willing and able to travel extensively within NAFTA and occasionally to the European HQ * Independent, well organized, flexible, mobile and as part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications * Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus * Possess an entrepreneurial business approach considering that working in a small and efficient boutique requires mental flexibility and a broad skill set * Motivation for Sales, Meeting Sales Goals, Presentation & Negotiation Skills, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Sales Planning Prospecting & Closing Skills, Persistence, ProfessionalismWhat's in it for you: * Great Company and Team * Great Environment * Excellent Benefits * Excellent Compensation Package* Pre-employment physical and drug screen are required for all positions.So...if you have 3+ years of successful sales experience with masterbatch or compounds and would like to be part of an exciting, dynamic company...we'd like to hear from you!
