Account Manager

A 500 Million dollar company seeking a Account Manager.  The main focus of this position will be to sell chemicals to companies within a specific geographic territory.

This company is looking for someone who can identify new product opportunities, and be able to close sales within the specified geographic territories.

REQUIREMENTS

College Degree  / Self-motivated / Excellent communication skills / Possess valid driver license and current auto insurance / Selling skills / Keen business judgment / capable of working with minimum supervision 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Maintain existing relationships with customers, while promoting and growing the commercial side of the business.

Communicate company's direction, commitments, and policies to external customers.

Respond to changes in customer situations and market conditions for the benefit of the company.

Make recommendations for marketing and sales strategies within the assigned territory.

Develop sales plans and forecasts for company products within a defined territory and successfully achieving those sales goals.

In-depth, multiple contact, selling with customers.

Provide monthly recap of activities within territory, writes call reports on an "as needed" basis.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Significant travel required mostly by car.
