Leading, international energy company is seeking to fill the position of Safety Representative at one of its major refineries.  This individual will be responsible for leading Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and provide technical safety support for refining operations, engineering, and maintenance staff.  If you are qualified and wish to advance your career in this challenging position, please e-mail your resume in MS Word to the address below. Responsibilities: Implementing a zero incident culture at the site; Participate in routine and ad hoc Production/Maintenance Team meetings to demonstrate visibility, support, and offer guidance for safety activities; Develop, present, and implement safety training for refinery group and contractors; Participate in incident investigations; Participate in PSM related activities such as MOC review, PHA and PSUSR as warrented; Continuously develop knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and HSE Management Systems.  Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in safety related discipline, MS preferred; 5-10 years experience in health, safety, and environmental; within refining or petrochemical manufacturing environment preferred; Must be willing and able to obtain or currently hold a valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC); Certified Safety Professional or Associate Safety Professional preferred; Emergency Response Team background in hazmat, rescue, oil spill, and fire prevention preferred.
