Yield Analyst

A global leader in the containerized shipping industry is looking for a Yield Analyst.  We specialize in maritime trade and transportation.  We are located in Concord, CA.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 Maintain company port and point pair costing system.Maintain company’s Port Routing Guide with optimum routings.Initiate detailed economic analyses to determine areas of yield improvement through modifications in allocations, bookings, cargo flows, etc. Establish yield standards by vessel, route and origin and monitor compliance.Establish inland origin guideline incentives.Support Trade Management, Line Management, and Pricing evaluations with economic analyses as needed.Work with Global Yield Management to establish cross trade guidelines and allocations.

 

Qualifications:

 BA/BS in related discipline (Business, Economics, or related field) required.2+ years experience in professional corporate setting required.Industry experience in Trade Management or Pricing preferred.Effective communication skills.Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities for multiple departments’ requestsHigh level of PC competency with expertise in Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. Professional demeanor and ability to represent the Corporate HQ in a positive light
