Workers Compensation Coordinator

The primary purpose of the Workers Compensation Coordinator is to assist the WC team in various tasks related to receiving and processing basic WC claim files. Essential responsibilities and tasks· Maintain and record transactions and communications· Enter all First Aid Only Workers Comp Claims· Close all Workers Comp Claim Files· Perform data entry into Oracle, Excel Spreadsheets, and Access Databases for all Workers Comp issues.· Assist in the distribution of state mandatory Workers Comp postings to each location.· Sort and distribute all incoming Workers Comp claims by region.· Assist Workers Comp team with claims case load from beginning to end.· Track all outgoing and incoming Texas HCN paperwork.· Assist in completion and distribution of all Practice Hospital OSHA logs.· Other job duties as assigned.  Hiring qualifications capabilities and experience (can do)· Ability to multi-task- Manages multiple tasks at one time; quickly and accurately shifts attention among multiple tasks under distracting conditions without loss of accuracy or appearance of frustration.· Communication skills - Reads, writes and speaks fluent English, using appropriate grammar, style and vocabulary.  Correctly spells commonly used English words and job specific terms.
