Website Development Manager
AccuWeather, Inc. is seeking a Development Manager for AccuWeather.com. This individual will ensure the successful implementation of web-based projects, feeds, and customized client web sites. This will include initiatives involving new deployments, new features, bug fixes, enhancements, and advertising. This position is located in State College, PA.
Responsibilities:Coordinate the development, design, and implementation of advertising and advertising placementEnsure search engine optimization with the systematic review of tags and the creation of new tagsClosely monitor changes to AccuWeather.com through the entire lifecycle of the projectWork with clients, designers, and programmers to ensure accuracy of implementation, look and feel, and timeliness of delivery for custom web sitesReview user suggestions for AccuWeather.com and work to implement these changesAct as a general trouble-shooter for all web related projectsCollaborate with the Marketing Department for special promotions of products on AccuWeather.com
Requirements:Previous supervisory experience4 year degreeProficiency with Microsoft Office software, experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plusExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work successfully under pressure with demanding goals and deadlines
