Consortium Health Plans, Columbia, Maryland is seeking a web content manager with experience producing web content.                                    Responsibilities: 

                                    Manage content specific to designated communities of MarketQuest Collect and solicit content for MarketQuest Work with vendors and free lance writers contracted to provide MarketQuest-related support/services Write, edit and proof content for MarketQuest Recommend guidelines and standards for content development; develop style guide Ensure the quality and integrity of the content published Ensure that information contained within each document is accurate, peer reviewed and regularly updated Keep up to date with best practice in web usability, web page design and writing for the web Assist with the day-to-day information submission and updating activities for MarketQuest Assist in the review of MarketQuest information architecture and conduct regular user needs analyses Adhere to policies, procedures and programs protecting confidential and proprietary Plan data and information

Qualifications:

                                    2-5 years experience in content management and web design 1-3 years experience in managed care and/or health insurance industry Experience in electronic/web publishing or web editing; content management or internet research highly regarded Degree in Library and Information Management, Arts/Journalism or a combination of each. IT qualification an advantage. Demonstrated ability to write, edit and proof content for the web Demonstrated ability to work with free lance writers and vendors Knowledge/skill of HTML including tables, style sheets and forms Self-motivated to prioritize work on multiple complex assignments with ongoing deadlines Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact collaboratively with internal staff and develop relationships with Plan personnel  Salary:  Commensurate with experience, to 50K with excellent corporate benefits.

 

This is a full time permanent position, not freelance.
