Visual Basic Developer
Omni Resources, incorporated in 1984, is dedicated to providing the highest quality information technology consulting services throughout the upper-Midwest. We are seeking an experienced Visual Basic Developer to work with out client in Milwaukee, WI.
Responsibilities:
* Designs, develops and tests program units.
* Works on new systems development and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems.
* Participates in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet Information Systems and client business requirements.
* Prepares and updates documentation as appropriate.
* Participates in knowledge transfer to support team.
Required Skills & Experiences:
* Experience with developing processes in general which will aid in development of repeatable process for sizing and estimating projects.
* The candidate will have experience the following roles: Team lead, lead developer and/or SCM (Software and Configuration Mgmt)
* Visual Basic and Excel expertise at an intermediate or expert level strongly preferred.
* Experience in and strong desire, to develop processes as well as use of technology to streamline processes.
* Flexibility and ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities. * Broad knowledge of I.S. standard project life cycle approach and deliverables.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and partnering skills required.
