Vice President of Business Development

This company provides temporary lodging services to the world's most progressive IT Outsourcing organizations, as well as project teams working in Defense, Telecommunications, and Medical industries.  We serve as a resource globally to make engagements and projects more productive, including cost benefit analysis and turnkey solutionsfor corporate housing as an alternative to hotels and extended stay assignments. As a segment of the hospitality industry this company offers a unique product: a single point of contact for full service corporate housing including customized invoicing, reporting, and specialized services to make temporary assignments more comfortable, productive, and convenient.  This sales management position is for individuals who have experience managing a peak performance sales team, either in the hospitality industry, IT Outsourcing, or Defense sectors.

Requirements:10 plus years corporate sales experience, with a solid track record in the Fortune 500 arena in North America.Candidate should have a solid mix of sales, business, and marketing capabilities, and possess deep understanding, excellent contact base, and knowledge of the corporate housing market.Solid program management and organizational skills; exceptional ability to manage and drive details, complex contracts and track multi-faceted agreements.Demonstrated success in uncovering opportunities, creating customer interest, and closing business for new accounts.A history of working with established companies, strategic alliances, and partnerships.Detailed involvement in the proposal preparation process and responding to RFI's and RFP's.Solid sales management experience with a minimum of 5+ years experience in a management role in the hotel industry.Must be a motivated self-starter with strong leadership, planning, forecasting, and managerial skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.Ability to conduct compelling and concise demonstrations to technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work hard with a positive attitude and have fun in a dynamic fast-paced environment.Experienced at working across an organization effectively with his or her peers as well as with employees at all levels.
