Vice President - Business Development
Vice President of Business Development is responsible for all sales and business development efforts in the Northeast market focused on selling the escrow product to law firms and intermediaries thru direct sales efforts including; coordinating events and marketing strategies as well as developing and leveraging current law firm relationships and internal partner channels. .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
¨ Ability to develop and expand key relationships within the legal community to drive new business
¨ Meet stated calling objectives as measured on weekly basis
¨ Develop and coordinate regional events to build and expand law firm relationships
¨ Set up business development trips around the business development event calendar
¨ Segmentation - maintain master client prospect list for law firm targeted events
¨ Maintain calling activity reports and transactional pipeline
¨ Participate in calling efforts and business development activities to learn BD process and develop BD skills.
¨ Brainstorm, develop and implement new BD ideas for increasing revenue and attend quarterly law firm initiative meetings.
¨ Lead meetings and presentations with prospective clients
¨ Generates sales and cross-sell other products complimentary to escrow with key clients
¨ Conduct research on prospects and new market opportunities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Position has no supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite of software.
