Trade Processing Engineer

The Role

The Trade Processing Engineer's responsibilities encompass three key areas:

Client ImplementationClient Operations and ProjectsProduct Support.

 

1. Client ImplementationManaging implementation projects, liaising with company's Trade Processing’s clients (banks, brokers, end users and electronic execution platforms) and interacting with all parts of the company's Trade Processing organisation (Marketing, Customer Services, Business Analysts, Developers etc)Providing ongoing support in areas such as the addition of new funds/entities, client implementation of new functionality etc.

 

2. Client Operations and Projects

 Liaising with the client and company's Trade Processing staff to ensure that operational processes are designed to meet clients’ business needsScheduling and managing the resulting processing runsDiagnosing and resolving any resulting exceptions or errors. 

 

3. Product Support Pre- and post-sales support in sales and implementation meetingsProviding expert advice and support for clients during company's Trade Processing implementation projectsGiving customer training as requiredProviding input into new functionality based on client feedbackMaintaining implementation documentation and user-guides.

Required  Education, Experience, Skills:

· Experience with Microsoft Excel

· Interested in finance markets  Any experience with financial markets is advantageous

· Problem solver

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written

· Ability to work under pressure

· Strong organizational skills

· Team player

· Detail-oriented

· Ability use own initiative to solve problems
